Artist's Description
This is the second image in my Scars and Stripes series. It's an exploration into human beauty, accepting and wearing one's inner and outermost qualities that they were born with or into. Some scars are earned through life and mold an individual into who they are or will become. The animal patterns, ancient hair combs and raised surface texture are symbolic of beauty and individuality. They represent endurance, strength, overcoming adversity, spiritual mystique, and our sacred geometry.
