Artist's Description

This piece was inspired by Amanda Gorman’s inaugural address. The Hill represents the challenges that life brings in front of us, obstacles we have to overcome in order to progress. The red dress represents power, action and assertion. It’s meant to catch your attention so that you will listen. It represents that one is ready to take action on things that have been put off for too long. The white feather Symbolizes strength, peace, love, wisdom and freedom in the spoken written word. The blue Morpho butterflies(3 of them)represent the spirit or spiritual evolution and connection with our past ancestors, rebirth and embracing change the car. There’s power and inspiration in everything we say and do. Set the example for future generations and you will not be forgotten.

In 1992, Jerome continued his...
